Digital print assistants will use client specifications and industry standards to assist the lead operator in producing and delivering high quality finished products.
Responsibilities
Digital Print Assistants are responsible for producing and finishing client projects. Each project has different requirements and utilizes different equipment including but not limited to:
- Inkjet Printers
- Eco Solvent Printers
- Laser Printers
- Scanner
- Hole punch
- Wire, coil, staple, and thermal binding equipment
- Cold and Hot Laminators
- Paper trimmer
- Perforator
- Booklet maker
- Stapler
- Vinyl plotter
- Corner Rounder
This position is best suited for someone with a strong eye for detail that enjoys a fast paced environment, can handle multitasking, and has a technical or mechanical background. The projects we produce for our clients require precision, so we need someone that will accept nothing less than excellence to meet our clients specifications.
This position is for a 1099 contractor. This is NOT a full time or part time job, and you will only be called on as needed for future projects. The position will however have the opportunity to transition to a permanent part time or full time employee as business needs change.
1099 Contractors will be kept on file and contacted as needed. Polychrome Studios will offer no benefits to contractors, and you are responsible for all tax and legal filings for your earnings as required by state and federal law. Compensation will be negotiated at the time of contact, and will be based on the project you are being considered for.
Requirements
- Experience with photo and document editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign preferred
- Two years training or experience in digital printing and finishing or a related field preferred, but not required
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening
