Offset Printing

Offset printing is a technique where an inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket and then to the printing surface.

Benefits of offset printing include:

  • Consistent, high quality images
  • Quick production
  • Lower costs for high quantity (over 500 identical sheets) and repeat prints

Offset printing has a higher upfront cost than digital printing, due to the nature of the process. There is a set-up fee for plate creation and press setup, but this cost is greatly offset by the lower cost per page of the print.

For example:

A 10,000 page, single color project on 24 LB paper using our digital printing equipment will cost about $0.23 per sheet, for a total of $2,310

The same project on an offset press will cost $50 in setup and $0.05 per page, for a total of $550

**The above example is only a sample and does not necessarily reflect current pricing. Prices fluctuate per job based on a multitude of factors**
